Entire Indian line-up now gets ABS.
Harley-Davidson has launched its MY2017 line-up in India with the addition of two new models to its range – Harley-Davidson Roadster and Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special. With the MY2017, all 13 motorcycles sold in India feature ABS.
The Harley-Davidson Roadster is the company’s newest addition to the Sportster family of motorcycles. The Roadster measures 2,185 mm in length, and has a wheelbase of 1,505 mm and a seat height of 785 mm. It is powered by the 1.2-litre Evolution air-cooled engine that produces 96 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is priced from INR 9,70,000 to INR 10,22,650 (ex-showroom).
The Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special measures 2,430 mm in length, and has a wheelbase of 1,625 mm and a seat height of 685 mm. The Road Glide Special packs the 1.7-litre Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine that produces 150 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm. This luxurious tourer starts at INR 32,81,000 and goes up to INR 36,48,875 (ex-showroom).
As a part of the MY2017, the Harley-Davidson Street 750 now not only adds ABS, but also features a new tank badge and offers optional two two-tone schemes: Vivid Black Deluxe and Fire Red Deluxe. It is priced from INR 4,91,000 to INR 5,18,000 (ex-showroom).
