First product to have been wholly-developed by Hero Motocorp.
The Hero Splendor iSmart 110 has been launched in Mumbai for a price of INR 55,672 (ex-showroom). The Splendor iSmart 110 was launched nationally earlier this month and is Hero’s first completely in-house product.
First showcased at Auto Expo 2016, the new entry-level commuter is built on a completely new chassis and frame.
The Hero Splendor iSmart 110 is powered by a completely new BS IV compliant 110 cc engine called ‘TOD’, short for ‘Torque on Demand’. Needless to say, the engine is 4-stroke and air-cooled, and it produces 9.4 PS (9.26 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It features i3S (Idle-stop-start system) for lower consumption of fuel, and features a 4-speed transmission. 0-60 km/h is clocked in 7.45 seconds.

The Hero Splendor iSmart 110 is the first motorcycle in its class to be offered with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature. It will be available in four colour schemes: Silver & Black, Red & Black, Blue & Black and Sports Red.
