India Yamaha Motor showcased the Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. It is an existing model that is offered in four colours – Ivory White, Red Dash, Green Arrow and Matt Green. The latter is priced at INR 67,664 and the others are priced at INR 66,664 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The SZ-RR Version 2.0 is powered by a 149 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with SOHC, two valves and Yamaha Blue Core Technology, that produces 12.1 PS at 7,500 rpm and 12.8 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The 134 kg motorcycle is based on a diamond frame chassis that is suspended by standard fork and double shocks on swingarm, and features a disc brake upfront as standard, drum brake at the rear, 2.75-17M/C 41P tyre at the front, 100/90-17M/C 55P tubeless tyre at the rear, 14-litre fuel tank and 165 mm of ground clearance.
