The Vespa GTS 300 measures 1,930 mm in length, 755 mm in width, 1,370 mm in height and 790 mm in seat height. It is powered by a 278 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with electronic fuel injection, that produces 21.48 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 23 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm, and is mated to a CVT with torque server.

The GTS 300 features single arm Enhanced Sliding Suspension (ESS) with coil spring and hydraulic shock absorber, rear suspension that comprises of coil spring with four adjustable preload positions and double acting hydraulic shock absorber, 220 mm stainless steel disc brake with hydraulic control at the front and rear that is governed by dual channel ABS with ASR (Anti-Slip Regulation), 120/70-12 front tyre, 130/70-12 rear tyre and a 11-litre fuel tank.
