Expected to be unveiled this year.
IwanBanaran has posted spyshots of a motorcycle that is believed to be the next generation Yamaha R15. It is expected to debut this year.

The Yamha R15 V3.0 was snapped testing alongside what is believed to be the Yamaha Mio M3-Z which is also yet to be revealed.
The Yamaha R15 V3.0 is believed to inherit components from the Yamaha Xabre, including the LED headlamp, inverted fork, fully digital instrument console, and the like. The chassis would be the same Deltabox frame that underpins the existing R15 and the Xabre with minor tweaks.
The R15 Version 3.0 would be powered by the same 150 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine with SOHC, but it could be tuned to produce higher power and torque. On the Yamaha Xabre the engine produces 16.32 PS at 8,500 rpm and 14.30 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The six-speed gearbox is likely to remain the same.

The new R15 could share the notable features of the Yamaha Xabre like the LED headlamp, USD fork and the digital instrument console.
