Hero MotoCorp is showcasing the 2016 model year versions of the Hero Glamour and the Hero Passion Pro at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. Both models get updated cosmetics.
2016 Hero Passion Pro:
Hero has updated the Passion Pro with new body graphics. There is no further mechanical or cosmetic change on the 2016 Passion Pro. It continues to be powered by the 97.2 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8.36 PS at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 5,000 rpm, mated to a four-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is offered in five variants with combinations of alloy wheels/spoke wheels, front disc brake/drum brake and self-/kick-starter, in the price range of INR 48,900 – INR 52,700 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The company has not announced a revision in the pricing of the Hero Passion Pro yet.
2016 Hero Glamour:
The 2016 Hero Glamour features the same body graphics but is subjected to mild cosmetic changes like a different colour tone to its pillion grab handles. The 2016 version remains mechanically the same. It is powered by the 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 9.1 PS at 7,000 rpm and 10.35 Nm at 4,000 rpm, mated to a four-speed transmission.
It is offered in two variants – one with drum brakes and the other with front disc brake while self-start and alloy wheels are standard. They are priced at INR 55,925 and INR 57,925 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) respectively. Hero MotoCorp has not mentioned any change in the Glamour’s pricing yet.
