No apparent changes to the engine.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS has been customised into a scrambler by Malamadre Motorcycles in Indonesia. The model retains the vital mechanical features while the cosmetics have been thoroughly modded to look nothing like the Bajaj Naked Sport.

The Indonesian Pulsar 200 NS is powered by the 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder carbureted engine that produces 23.1 PS at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm.

The scrambler job has involved replacing the stock headlamp and bikini fairing assembly with a classic round head lamp coated in chrome. The digital speedo unit appears to have been retained, and so does the regular fork, alloy wheels, disc brakes and the steel perimeter frame. The front tyre seems to be the stock unit while the rear tyre appears wider than the standard 130/70.

The scrambler mod of the 200 NS has chiefly involved the replacement of the headlamp assembly, fuel tank cover, seat and the exhaust.

The custom fuel tank and the seat are the highlights of this mod, which give the motorcycle a retro appeal. The tank cover is similar to a cafe racer’s while the thin, long and ribbed seat is reminiscent of that on the Triumph T100. The stock underbelly exhaust system has been replaced with a narrow pipe which is likely a free flow exhaust. There is no change to the braking or the powertrain.
