Here's the 1st documented BMW G 310 R vs Bajaj Dominar 400 Drag race [Video]

<p><a href="https://indianautosblog.com/2018/06/bmw-g-310-gs-g-310-r-india-launch-18-july-308092">BMW Motorrad India will likely launch the G 310 R and the G 310 GS in India on 18 July</a>. Ahead of its launch, a video of a drag race between the BMW G 310 R and the Bajaj Dominar 400 has emerged online.</p> <p><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZS9reSNAVBg" width="770" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p> <p>The video is shot in Columbia by YouTuber Full Gass. In the video, you can see that the BMW G 310 R outclasses the <a href="https://indianautosblog.com/2018/04/2018-bajaj-dominar-400-modenas-dominar-d400-malaysia-launch-304144">Bajaj Dominar 400</a> on both the occasions.</p> <p>On paper, the Dominar 400 is more powerful, yet it loses to the G 310 R.<br /> The BMW G 310 R weighs 158.5 kg, while the Bajaj Dominar 400 tips the weighing scales at 182 kg. The G 310 R has a better body to weight ratio of 217 PS/ton, while the Dominar 400 has a body to weight ratio of 192 PS/ton. Moreover, both the bikes serve a different purpose. While the BMW G 310 R, is a street-fighter, the Dominar 400 is a power cruiser. The bike is powered by a 313 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that pumps out 34 bhp of power along with a peak torque of 28 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Bajaj Dominar 400, on the other hand, is powered by a 373.2 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor that churns out 34.5 bhp of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission.
