TVS Motor Company has introduced a Matte Purple colour variant of the TVS Scooty Zest 110. At INR 49,211, ex-showroom, Delhi, the price is the same as other matte colour offerings.
TVS showcased the Zest 110 Matte Purple colour variant at the 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. As the name suggests, it comes with matte purple colour bodywork, with colour-matching rear view mirrors. The premium seat comes in a dual-tone beige and brown combination. The interior panels have a Silver-Oak finish, which is exclusive to the matte series and the grab rail is finished in silver. The powertrain, suspension and wheels are all black. Notable features include a 19-litre under seat storage with boot light and USB charger. The apron houses a small LED DRL as well.

Powering the TVS Scooty Zest 110 is a 109.7 cc single cylinder CVTi engine. It generates 7.99 PS at 7,500 rpm, and 8.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. For suspension, the scooter employs telescopic front fork, and a double-rated hydraulic monoshock at the rear. The scooter weighs just 97 kg, kerb, and has a five-litre fuel tank. Brakes include a 110 mm front and a 130 mm rear drum. The 10-inch wheels are shod with 90-section tubeless tyres.
Key rivals of the TVS Scooty Zest 110 include Honda Activa i, Hero Pleasure, Suzuki Let’s, and Yamaha Ray-Z. In the Matte Series, other colours on offer are Matte Blue, Matte Black, Matte Red, and Matte Yellow.
