The new Avengers were launched last week.
The 2016 Bajaj Avenger 150 Street, 220 Street and 220 Cruise models were showcased at the Autocar Performance Show 2015.
Bajaj Avenger 150 Street
Launched at INR 75,000 ex-showroom New Delhi, the Avenger 150 Street is the most affordable cruiser-styled motorcycle in India. It is powered by the Pulsar 150’s 149 cc DTS-i air-cooled engine but retuned to produce 14.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and 12.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, instead of 15.06 PS at 9,000 rpm and 12.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
The 150 Street has the same styling and features as the 220 Street, and is offered only in Midnight Blue colour with yellow graphics.
Bajaj Avenger 220 Street
Priced at INR 84,000 ex-showroom New Delhi, the Avenger 220 Street is tailored for city riding and styled for urban environment. It is propelled by the same 220 cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine with an oil-cooler and a 5-speed transmission featured on the previous Avenger. The power and torque outputs are unchanged – 19.03 PS at 8,400 rpm and 17.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The Avenger 220 Street is seemingly inspired by the Harley Davidson Street 750, and is available only in Matte Black colour with red decals.
Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise
Offered at INR 84,000 ex-showroom New Delhi, the Avenger 220 Cruise is designed for the highway with elements like a tall handlebar and a large windscreen. It is driven by the same engine as the 220 Street/the older Avenger, with the same output figures.
The chrome-intensive version of the 2016 Avenger is sold only in Divine Black shade.
