The Royal Enfield Himalayan is the company’s first true blue adventure tourer.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan’s tagline goes ‘Built for all roads. Built for no roads.’ A rider took it quite literally and crossed the Kusma-Gyadi bridge, considered as the tallest suspension bridge in Nepal.
The bridge has a height of 135 m and is 344 m long. Most commuters hold on to the safety net of the bridge in fear of the height, but the Royal Enfield Himalayan rider took on it without batting an eyelid. This daredevil act indeed goes up as one of the craziest things done on the Himalayan since its launch in March 2016.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is shod with a large 21-inch wheel up front to provide the ability to ride over even the biggest of the obstacles while the 17-inch wheel in the rear offers sufficient traction.
The chassis has been developed in collaboration with Harris Performance, UK. The long travel suspension and monoshock in the rear also promises a great ride. The mounting points and easy addition of panniers and jerry cans make the Royal Enfield Himalayan an ideal tourer.
The BS4 version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, which is not featured in this video, additionally gets fuel injection.
