UM Motorcycles manufacturers motorcycles at Lohia Auto’s manufacturing facility in Uttarakhand.
The UM Renegade Commando and UM Renegade Sport S are now BSIV compliant and gain fuel injection.
The official communication from UM reveals that the bikes will not just be cleaner regarding emissions, but will also have extra power. While figures have not been revealed, the BSIII version’s 279.5 cc mill, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, produces 24.8 hp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.

We are happy to announce that following the implementation of BS-IV pollution norms in India, both Renegade Commando EFI and Renegade Sports S EFI fully comply with the stringent pollution norms. Our bikes will now come equipped with fuel injection engines that shall produce extra power for an increased driving pleasure

Fuel injection will help the UM Renegade Commando and UM Renegade Sport S return a crisper throttle response. It will also be easier to cold start the engine. UM India at present has a dealership count of 45 across the country.
The UM Renegade Commando has a price tag of INR 1.74 lakhs (up from INR 1.64 lakhs) and INR 1.68 lakhs (up from INR 1.57 lakhs) for the UM Renegade Sport S.
