KTM signed a joint venture with Ayala Corporation back in 2016.
Production of KTM motorcycles in the Philippines is now in full swing, reports MotoPinas. KTM will be manufacturing the KTM Duke 390, KTM RC390, KTM Duke 200 and KTM RC200.

KTM Philippines is located in the Province of Laguna and has an initial production run of 6,000 motorcycles per annum. The aim is to increase this number to 20,000 motorcycles produced every year. The motorcycles will be assembled with CKD parts from India. The prices of locally produced models though can be expected to reduce a bit and range from PHP 169,000 for the KTM Duke 200 and go up to PHP 360,000.
KTM currently has 22 operational dealers in the Philippines, and plans to increase it to 25 soon. Motorcycles assembled in the Philippines will be sold in the domestic market and exported to the ASEAN region.

While the KTM RC models have been updated to 2017 editions in the Philippines, the Duke 390 is yet to be seen in the new avatar. An announcement in the near future is awaited.
